10 Current MMA Fighters Who Could Jump To Professional Wrestling

6. Jon "Bones" Jones

Nobody could walk into a wrestling arena with more natural heel heat than Jonny "Bones" Jones. Aside from one loss by technicality, Jonny "Bones" Jones has never been beaten in the octagon. His bad boy reputation has been forged by years of self-admitted drug use, run-ins with the law, and his propensity for verbal sparring with... basically anyone.

At 23, Jones became the youngest UFC Champion in history. Twice he relinquished the UFC Light Heavyweight Title, and one of those times it was stripped from him after a hit and run incident. The second time he surrendered the belt willingly after a pay dispute with the UFC. Jones has voiced an interest in moving up the the Heavyweight Division.

Since all of these issues with Jones have been public, he could capitalize on his notoreity and step into the WWE or AEW. The angle could be that after conquering all there was in the UFC, it was time to capture the WWE gold as well.

Fantasy Match: Jon "Bones" Jones vs. Brock Lesnar in a "two out of three" falls match for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. Since they will never fight in the octagon, Bones could make his move to heavyweight in a dream match with the man who has already worn gold in both UFC and WWE.
