10 Current Wrestlers Already BETTER Than Your Favourites

7. Matt Riddle (Ken Shamrock)

People tend to cherry pick Ken Shamrock's name when talking UFC and WWE in the same breath. That makes sense, because ultra-hard bastard Kenny was an MMA > wrestling pioneer, and he carried that UFC menace long before Brock Lesnar began using it as a heel move in 2012.

Nobody would ever accuse Shamrock of being a versatile worker though. He did his tough guy act well, and his "in the zone" moments became legendary. However, current UFC fighter turned WWE star Matt Riddle has way more range than Ken ever did, and he's been able to show that over the past few years on the main roster.

Riddle can do comedy (RK-Bro) and serious stuff (his feud with Seth Rollins) in a heartbeat. He's also credible enough as a fighter to lose matches and still retain aura with live crowds. That isn't always an easy thing to do, but Matt has cracked it.

He's a more adaptable performer than Shamrock.
