10 Current WWE Double-Acts That Must Never Split Up
9. The Miz & John Morrison
Through all the negative press, you can't deny that these guys are incredible entertainers, and they bounce off each other as though they were born to be a double-act.
In the case of Miz, you have a guy who has ran a formidable gauntlet through WWE. There was a time when he was the top heel of the company. He headlined WrestleMania. He turned a bunch of times and bounced from pillar to post. One could say the character was beyond finding his way back.
Alongside this, John Morrison gained a formidable following, took a lengthy absence and returned to a platform that shifted substantially. Amidst a dense stomping ground of talent, how the heck was he supposed to become relevant once again?
The solution to both problems has been to kick it old-skool and put them back together with comedy heel personas to boot. Yes the chat show format ran a little stale, but it doesn't change the fact that, with all their ridiculous quips, antics and stupid music, the double act schtick brings out the best in both Morrison and Miz's personalities. They are a sturdy source of fun, whatever the occasion.
