The Miz will never break the glass ceiling, but that's because he already has before and the results were thoroughly unsatisfying. In late 2010, Miz gained the WWE Championship, after winning the Money In The Bank ladder match. He suffered from an incredibly weak booking, he required interference to win almost every match and rarely won cleanly, for some reason he also worked a program with Jerry Lawler, which just made The Miz look even more pathetic. The point here is, is that Miz has already been to the very top and it wasn't well received, or well remembered. For that reason, The Miz will never hold another world title, his ball has been thoroughly dropped and forgotten, now doomed to flounder and wane in WWE's barren mid-card for his entire career. That's the state of WWE creative booking now, they simply don't know how to create new rising stars, if it doesn't work the first time, then it'll just get worse from there. It could be worse for The Miz, he isn't jobbing nearly as much as he used to. Sadly, that is the full extent of his capacity now, he may have held the World Heavyweight Championship if it wasn't defunct, but that's not the case. The Miz stands out as one of the most doomed current WWE talents, as he's already held the big time gold, and was promptly buried months after. If a pure talent like Ziggler who puts on a show each and every night can't get there, what's an average talent who has already tried and failed suppose to do? The Miz isn't a showstopper, he's not a technician, he's not over and none of these facts are likely to change now.
