Kofi Kingston is a king of the mid-card, having been a 4-time Intercontinental Champion, a 3-time United States Champion, and a 2-time WWE Tag-Team Champion. As impressive as those accolades are, he'll never win the big belt, he's too boring, played out and its just been far too long since his huge push fizzled. Thing is, there's little else to do in the WWE for Kofi besides win a World Championship, which will probably never happen now the World Heavyweight Championship doesn't exist. He's a solid mid-carder and has held his position for years in the company, but in terms of advancement, he'll never make it to the main event. Kofi has the athleticism, but not the look, charisma or momentum of a World Champion. Plus, he's arguably too valuable for the WWE as a middle-of-the-pack veteran who puts on decent matches, time after time. He'll probably go on to win numerous more Intercontinental Championships, as well as Tag and United States, but he's been there and done all of that before. The only likely direction for Kofi to go from here, is down.
