10 Daniel Bryan Matches WWE Must Book

9. Dolph Ziggler

There has to be a reason why Dolph Ziggler was booked to approach Daniel Bryan backstage on SmackDown and smugly let his GM know that he was looking forward to beating him. When Bryan then said Ziggler was welcome to try, a match was set in stone.

Bryan vs. Dolph is exactly the kind of match WWE could use to test the waters with Daniel's return, and it'd be perfect as a house show attraction; seeing Bryan shed his GM clothes to kick his way through someone who can bump like a machine makes sense on live events. It'd give hardcore fans a reason to go, if nothing else.

Typically, it's Bryan who does the bumping for his opponents. That wouldn't necessarily be the case with Dolph though, and maybe that's something WWE, who you have to imagine must be cautious, are interested in. By keeping Daniel's bumps to a minimum at first, they'd also be saving the visual of him in distress for a more important heel.

Again, whilst Bryan vs. Ziggler doesn't have a pay-per-view feel, it is worth thinking about on house shows or as a quick TV match.
