Sheamus won his first WWE Championship only 166 days after his debut, an incredibly quick turnaround for a wrestler in his rookie year. He defeated none other than John Cena in a tables match at the TLC event 2009, only his second appearance on PPV. Daniel Bryan is one of the great success stories in pro-wrestling, a prodigiously talented grappler who consistently rose through the ranks year after year, eventually becoming arguably the most popular WWE superstar of the 2000's. Interestingly, Sheamus and Bryan's fates have been linked a few times in WWE. They were scheduled to wrestle for the US Title at Wrestlemania 27, but were bumped from the card at the last minute and wrestled the event's dark match. Wrestlemania 28, the very next year, was the infamous World Heavyweight Championship match in which Sheamus defeated Bryan after 18 seconds, an incident which ended up igniting the flames for Bryan's ascent to the top of WWE.
