10 Most Decorated Wrestling World Champions

10. Jeff Jarrett

Longest individual reign as World Champion: 347 days as NWA World Heavyweight Champion World Titles held: 4-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion (combined 58 days), 6-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion (1,006 combined days) Coming in at number ten is Jeff Jarrett with a surprising ten reigns as World Heavyweight Champion. His WCW World Title reigns are the subject of scrutiny, mainly due to the fact his combined run equals 58 days, with his longest run being a lowly 41 days. Basically, during the last days of WCW, one of their desperate attempts to attract viewers was to have a World Title match each week, sometimes you'd even have two or three major title changes in a week. The fact that he's buddies with Vince Russo is also not a disadvantage. The same can be said about his NWA World Heavyweight Championship runs in TNA - the company he founded and owned up until recently. Having been the founder alongside his dad Jerry Jarrett, Jeff Jarrett had no trouble in pushing himself to the top with many long reigns as NWA World Heavyweight Champion in the first few years of TNA. However, Jeff Jarrett did actually show a different side in NWA:TNA - we actually got to see him wrestle, cut promos and be a champion without the stupid gimmicks. Whether you love him, loathe him or are indifferent to his existence, Jeff Jarrett is currently the tenth most decorated World Champion in the history of wrestling.
