WWE's roster is doing a fascinating thing right now where the performers are separating into spots where they can find their most optimal success for the longevity of their careers. Just as The Miz returning from shooting another edition of The Marine series allowed him to discover Damien Sandow and the best spot (and gimmick) for the future of his career, similar can be said for Curtis Axel not entering the Royal Rumble, adopting Hulk Hogan's mannerisms and finding a sustainable path. Of course, the moment has to come at Wrestlemania where Curtis Axel is preparing for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (a match he's certain to enter as it's now 44 days and counting since he hasn't been eliminated from the Rumble) and Hulk Hogan walks up and gives him a show of respect. You obviously want Axel to use Hogan putting him over to lead to a great performance in said match. Him being in a final four with say, Kane, Big Show and Ryback and eating Show's knockout punch and being eliminated after eliminating Kane would be ideal. A bittersweet moment could seal him in the eyes of the fans forever.
