After nearly a year of despicable actions, Trish and Lita's feud had reached fever pitch. Recently losing her unborn baby, Lita was now free to set her sights on Stratus's Women's Championship and to get revenge on the woman who had made the last year of her life a total misery. Lita vs. Trish had been set for the Survivor Series 2004. In the build-up to the long awaited match, Trish began to show real concern about her career after realising that anyone who works with Lita, gets injured or loses their career. Trish hilariously narrated a retrospective look back at Lita's career, brandishing her a 'walking kiss of death'. Essa Rios, Team Xtreme, Kane and even the TV programme, Dark Angel had all fallen victim to the curse of Lita. During that decade the only memorable women's feuds involved Stratus and that's because they allowed her the mic time to get her character across. Before Lita would join the segment, Trish spoke some of the most vindictive words ever heard in a women's feud when she said that Lita would lose to her, 'just like you lost your baby!'. Heel tactics 101 right there. This of course would bring Lita out to attack her rival, but sneaky Trish brought out Gail Kim for the advantage and beat Lita down, kicking her in the stomach for the extra dramatic effect.
