10 Devastating Injuries Suffered By WWE Divas

9. Trish Stratus Dislocates Her Shoulder (Backlash 2006)

While the match started hot and things appeared to be progressing nicely, the match would never had the opportunity to meet lofty expectations thanks to an untimely injury suffered by former Women's champion Stratus early in the contest. A fall to the ringside area had dislocated the beautiful blonde's shoulder, an injury that became apparent the minute the camera shot to her. Her arm hanging by her side, her face telling the story of a young woman in considerable pain, Stratus could do little and a hasty finish was booked on the fly. Despite the injury, Stratus remained on-screen while she rehabbed. She began an relationship with the very popular Carlito that saw her accompany him to the ring throughout the summer. She would eventually return to the ring just in time for her retirement match in September at Unforgiven, a match she won against Lita. Unfortunately, the injury robbed fans of seeing one of the greatest women's wrestlers of all-time do what she did better than anyone during the last year of her contract with WWE.
