Seth Rollins' upset at WrestleMania 31 still stands as one of the greatest World Championship wins of all time. Not only was it a genuine surprise, it also gave us a little indication that Rollins was destined to be the next face of the company. Even as a heel, the future was looking bright for him.

His eight month long reign was wildly entertaining, with Rollins using his godlike in-ring prowess to put on a good show whenever possible. In fact, Rollins wrestled a whopping 177 matches in 2015, and was carrying the company for a good portion of the year. Unfortunately, this would prove to be too much for Seth as he was soon injured during a live event. His injury came at the worst possible time for WWE, seeing as they were already plagued by the injuries of John Cena and Randy Orton, amongst others.

Rollins would be sorely missed in his absence, and the crowd's reaction to his return at Extreme Rules 2016 proved so.
