9. Cut (More Of) The Fat

Pictured above is CJ Parker who was just cut from NXT. While bad new for him, this is great news for WWE. WWE would do well to become a leaner roster, numbers-wise. There's a lot of eyes focused on the product right now, and frankly, with fewer performers, the potential for deeper storytelling and longer matches can exist, too. NXT is an hour-long program that's there on the main event level to give WWE fans the "death defying indy-style match of the week." Raw and Smackdown are five hours of broadcasting that would do well to reflect more of the strengths of the roster insofar as storytelling and character development. Feeling the need to put a ton of folks on TV every week actually limits that goal.
