This mistress of macabre debuted as a fortune-telling, tarot reader for WWE's water-down ECW in 2006. By 2007, she was the blood-sucking vampiress of Kevin Thorn. Together, the duo were instant money and Ariel stood out as a truly memorable Diva with her sharp fangs and Elvira-inspired appearance. Aside from a feud with ECW's resident Diva babyface, Kelly Kelly, Ariel really wasn't used for anything else besides Thorn's valet, which was a pity considering the types of storylines or feuds that could have developed with an actual supernatural Diva. During Ariel's time with WWE, there were two Divas that Ariel could have had truly memorable feuds with: perennial underdogs Torrie Wilson and Cherry. Since Torrie had been in WWE longer and had worked with a variety of talented wrestlers, there's no doubt that had Ariel competed in the ring with her or in gimmick matches and catfights that they would have been infinitely better than anything involving rookie Kelly Kelly or that trainwreck of a catfight with Francine Fournier. In regards to Cherry, she was the complete and total opposite of the dark and brooding Ariel, which would've helped Ariel gain more heat from the crowd for going after such a vulnerable and sweet character and also would've helped bring more focus to Cherry as well. When looking at the entire roster that was around during Ariel's tenure, it's safe to say that WWE dropped the ball repeatedly by not seeing what she was capable of in working with the likes of Victoria or real-life friend Melina Perez. Sadly, Ariel's time came to an abrupt and unexpected end when she had an altercation with Batista behind the scenes; further cementing the theory that WWE does not appreciate it when their female performers talk back to their high-ranking Superstars.
