After 25 years of marriage, Hulk Hogan's divorce from his wife Linda left the wrestling legend in - given his wealth-driven lifestyle - severe financial duress. The results of the Hogan's split were revealed in 2011 (after their 2009 divorce) and were frankly incredible. Hogan owed no alimony, but in receiving 70% of Hogan's physical wealth, walked away with $7.44 million. As well, she received 40% ownership in all of Hogan's companies and a $3 million "property settlement. Furthermore, she earned from the sale of their $9 million mansion,and the ownership of a Mercedes-Benz, a Cadillac Escalade, a Corvette, a Rolls-Royce and various off-road vehicles. The split has led Hogan back into the ring for TNA Wrestling (against doctor's orders), as well as signing a deal to be a spokesman for World Wrestling Entertainment. While yes, Hogan has not had a physical altercation while in WWE, the idea that Hogan cannot go peacefully into a non-wrestling retirement is unfortunate and directly linked to his divorce.
