10 Dream Matches Which Could Realistically Happen At WWE WrestleMania 37
3. Triple H Vs. Finn Bálor
Finn Bálor was not supposed to be NXT champion in 2020. If anything, his return to the black and gold brand more closely resembled an attempt to add star power to the roster as NXT went head-to-head with AEW. But ever since Karrion Kross had to vacate the NXT Championship, the former Bullet Club leader has stepped up once again to fill the void as the man on Wednesday nights, and should continue to do so for months to come.
With his new attitude, Bálor will become a cocky champion, bragging about how he is a two-time champion, and the first ever Universal champion, making him the only reason why NXT is no longer considered a developmental brand. The Prince, as he is known, could become so big headed that he begins to piss off the one man who has championed him since he first signed with WWE back in 2014: Triple H.
Bálor stepping in the ring with the brains behind the brand might seem a mismatch when it comes to size and experience, but if there's one thing we've learned about Triple H over the years it's that he's willing to put people over if it is truly what's best for business. He did it for Chris Benoit, he did it for Daniel Bryan, and in 2021 he could be doing it for Finn Bálor.
