With the star dropping his NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes at WrestleMania weekend's Stand & Deliver show, most were quick to assume that the dominant developmental powerhouse that is Bron Breakker would be making his presence known on the main roster full-time from the Raw after 'Mania onwards.

The son of Rick Steiner is still yet to pop up on the main roster at time of writing, but it does certainly feel like a case of when rather than if.

Yes, Breakker turned heel on NXT last night - but with Vince at the helm, developmental to main roster continuity will matter less than ever. Also, he's prone to a whim, isn't he? He could just decide to promote Bron as a babyface from out of nowhere.

And having the long-time NXT champ set his sights right on The Head of the Table's titles out of the gates would be one hell of a way of re-introducing the explosive star of tomorrow to the main roster audience.

The two would no-doubt forge an electric piece of business on the Backlash, King & Queen of the Ring, Money in the Bank, or SummerSlam stage, colliding with body breaking spears and masterfully teasing Breakker as the man to bring Roman's 1,000-day reign to an end.

Roman definitely needs some new credible challengers after bulldozing the majority of the roster over the last three years, too. And having WWE's next golden boy butt heads with their current one could certainly make for some compelling TV and PLE content to keep The Tribal Chief busy over the coming months.
