From the look of things, NXT seems interested in putting Ridge Holland in a prominent position in the roster. With his recent vignette airing on TV and his recent high profile match with Johnny Gargano, Holland seems destined for big things in NXT and it's easy to understand why.
His physique is impressive, his powerhouse style is raw and distinct, and he has an immediately captivating aura. Another man who has all those characteristics is North American Champion Damian Priest, which is why the two would undeniably deliver in the ring together in a singles match.
We’ve seen the two interact previously in a Triple Threat match with Oney Lorcan and both men shared natural chemistry, having incredibly entertaining exchanges over the course of the match. It should hopefully be just a matter of time before they meet again with championship glory on the line.
Establishing Holland as a worthy singles star is crucial if he’s going to be a success, and Priest has proven he’s capable of elevating his opponents to another level since joining NXT.
