10 Dream WWE Returns That IMMEDIATELY Became Nightmares

4. Kevin Nash

Originally, Kevin Nash's own 2002 was going to take this slot on the list. That was certainly a rotten time for the ex-Diesel, and he'll 100% never forget blowing out his quads during a Raw match. However, 2011 was just as soul-destroying for 'Big Sexy', and for fans watching him end the "Summer Of Punk" on a low note.

Nash surprisingly attacked Punk at SummerSlam, which paved the way for Alberto Del Rio to cash in his MITB briefcase. That led to a convoluted story about doing Triple H's bidding - the whole thing was so clumsily-told that fans lost interest almost immediately, and they wouldn't switch back on.

Kev's run ended after an ill-advised ladder match at TLC vs. Hunter.

So, to recap, he'd caused a title change nobody really wanted, ditched the rivalry with Punk in favour of one vs. Triple H, then worked a ladder gimmick despite having bad knees. Man, did anyone stop to think any of this through?!
