10 Dumbest Wrestling Heel Turns Ever

8. Brie Bella

When Nikki Bella turned on her sister Brie at SummerSlam 2014 to gift victory to Stephanie McMahon, it drew a crude line under a story that really started with their respective husbands clashing at WrestleMania 30. That conclusion would read like a Shakespearean classic compared to the dross that followed.

Bella drama dominated Raw's headlines in subsequent weeks for all the wrong reasons. Scuffles descended into parody in-part due abysmal acting from Nikki and Brie but also the undue prominence afforded to the pair whilst AJ Lee and Paige desperately tried and failed to ape the Women's Revolution simultaneously taking place over on NXT.

The worlds converged at Survivor Series that year though, when Brie celebrated the end of her enslavement by Nikki...by turning on Lee to give her sister the Divas Title. It was literally inexplicable - Brie never offered any reason as to why she now supported her sister yet again. The pair would wordlessly flip-flop as and when a storyline required for the remainder of their respective careers.
