10 Dumbest Wrestling Props Ever

4. Lilly The Doll

Triple H Sledgehammer
WWE

Lilly was a doll.

Lilly was an evil, sentient doll who once attempted to kill Shayna Baszler on live television. This wasn't some psychotic episode that Baszler suffered, either. Everybody saw it. Everybody also saw Lilly wink at Doudrop. This wasn't some deal like Hulk Hogan thinking he'd seen the Ultimate Warrior in the mirror. WCW botched that. The infamous segment was produced so poorly that Hogan was depicted as sane; Eric Bischoff was the man who experienced a hallucination.

The Lilly deal was a different strain of incompetence. The audience was meant to believe that our understanding of the physical world had been broken. The supernatural was real.

Nobody else sold this universe-altering business except those involved in Alexa Bliss segments, which made something farcical all the more stupid. But, because this is WWE, the stupidity did not end there: Randy Orton was the heel in his programme with Alexa and the Fiend, despite Lilly having inhabited Jack the Ripper and the Zodiac Killer to kill dozens of innocent people. Alexa was then programmed with Charlotte Flair, and f*ck knows who the babyface was there.

Charlotte subsequently killed Lilly, preventing several more murders from taking place, theoretically, but was the heel in this scenario because WWE portrayed Alexa as a sympathetic figure.

What the f*ck was this?
