5. The Triple H Reign Of Terror

Back to the Smark Marks Forum now, on which optimistic user 'TheGame2705' - Triple H created the other 2704 tribute accounts himself, surely - conceived of a conspiracy theory. To 'TheGame2705', now faintly aware of his favourite's backstage influence, Triple H ruined Monday Night RAW deliberately to one day make the show great...through perspective.

"People would be like whoa that's good," he wrote, after the secret weapons that were Steve Austin and The Rock returned to save us from Triple H's endless opening promos and lofty Ric Flair impression.

We take the piss (affectionately), but this sort of thing was as prevalent as an interminable Triple H win over a hapless midcard act. Which is to say "F*cking prevalent".

We all scrambled, even to this preposterous extent, to make some sense of what had happened to our beloved RAW. Was Triple H that much of an egomaniac? Was he incinerating himself as some sort of martyr figure to put over Booker T huge at WrestleMania XIX? Did he blow his quad again, and is that why it took him 23 seconds to make the cover? Incidentally, had he made that cover instantly, he could have successfully pinned Booker seven and a half times.

That's why we raged against this abomination of a diet Ric Flair; he was simply, at his worst, The Worst.
