10 Early Predictions For WWE Hall Of Fame 2019
8. Tommy Dreamer
With next year's WrestleMania taking place on the East Coast, WWE officials may look to throw a bone to the ECW die-hards in their midst, and since another title win for Rob Van Dam seems unlikely, inducting an extremist into the Hall of Fame will have to do instead.
There's a whole bunch of wrestlers who could take this spot. RVD himself is an outside possibility, and then you have the likes of Tazz and even Paul Heyman. But, you know what? We're going to go with Tommy Dreamer.
Partly, this is because - based on his Twitter output - he appears to have retained relatively good relations with the company, unlike some of the other ECW alumni who have voiced criticism over Vince McMahon's bastardised reboot (plus, Heyman probably wouldn't go for it just yet anyway).
But mainly it's because he thoroughly deserves some recognition. Dreamer was a steady performer for both companies for the better part of three decades, and continues to take independent bookings today. He won the world title twice, and the Hardcore Championship a whopping 14 times. He's the Innovator of Violence, for God's sake.
