10 Early Wrestler Finishers You Totally Forgot About

7. The Undertaker - Heatseeking Missile

Most people know that Mark 'The Undertaker' Calaway wrestled for WCW as Mean Mark Callous, and that he wasn't used terribly well, before he jumped ship to the WWF and made himself famous. That stint followed runs in WCCW as Texas Red, a masked character whose first match was a loss to the legendary Bruiser Brody, and the USWA as The Master Of Pain, an ex-con who feuded with Jerry 'The King' Lawler, defeating him for the USWA heavyweight championship.

It was during his WCW stint, managed by Paul E. Dangerously (the young, pre-ECW Paul Heyman), that he used the heart punch and the Heatseeking Missile as finishers. The gimmick might have been pre-Dead Man, but there's still something eerily supernatural about seeing someone as bloody huge as Calaway casually walking the ropes unassisted before leaping off to brain his opponent with an elbow.
