10 Early Wrestler Finishers You Totally Forgot About

4. Randy Orton - The O-Zone

Long before the RKO came outta nowhere to make him a minor viral hit online, Randall Keith Orton was using a version of the Overdrive nicknamed the O-Zone as his finish. The overdrive - basically a swinging neckbreaker where the swing is performed with the leg rather than the arms - holds the distinction of being one of the least convincing, most sneered-at finishing moves in wrestling.

In part, that's because it looks so ridiculous to set up. It's one of those manoeuvres where the opponent has to stay bent over for an inordinate length of time, in this case, while Orton draped one of those long legs over the back of his neck. Orton never really mastered it the way that MVP would in later years when he used the move, calling it the Playmaker: it's possible that he was simply too tall to carry it off convincingly.
