Natalya's recent SmackDown Women's Title victory provided her first taste of WWE golden since January 2011, but it looks like she's set for a short, transitional reign. Carmella is already teasing an imminent Money In The Bank cash-in, and while WWE will likely take a week or two to run through the apparent communication issues between her and James Ellsworth, it looks like she'll have the belt before long.

WWE could then spend a couple of months building Carmella up as a Honky Tonk Man-esque champion, with 'The Princess Of Staten Island' relying on cheating, countouts, Ellsworth, and other shenanigans to retain the belt. From there, they could book her in a mystery opponent angle, with a long overdue NXT call-up providing the opposition.

Just think of the reaction if Asuka emerged at Survivor Series, kicked Carmella's head off, and took the title. It'd be huge, and while WWE would probably want to get the NXT Women's Championship off 'The Empress Of Tomorrow' first, there's a TakeOver event the night before. At this stage, Asuka should probably come up to the main roster unpinned, so losing the NXT belt after someone else takes the fall in a multi-person bout makes sense.
