Those dark 2020 days brought the best out of the wrestling industry.
With the world locked down and no fans in attendance, the various stars of the likes of AEW and WWE were forced to think of new ways to excite an audience in desperate need of an escape from the harsh reality outside their door.
And it was that scenario that led to the brilliantly bizarre Firefly Funhouse, Boneyard, and Stadium Stampede showdowns.
But that early pandemic obsession with all things cinematic didn't always lead to unexpected gold.
Though it would ultimately be overshadowed by the night's other disaster that was Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara, the most popular woman signed to an AEW contract Britt Baker's Tooth and Nail fight with Big Swole was... well, embarrassing.
Folks were definitely invested in the pair's feud heading into All Out 2020, and even campaigned for the bout to be put on the show's main card.
But what came next was a deeply unfunny, dull, and seemingly never-ending (even at just 10-minutes long) forgettable brawl that did both ladies no favours heading out of the pandemic PPV.
