10 Embarrassing Matches Your Favourite Wrestlers Want You To Forget
7. Jeff Hardy Has A Night To Forget Against Sting (TNA Victory Road 2011)
'The Charismatic Enigma' has helped create countless iconic moments over the decades.
But for every spectacular swanton off the top off a titantron or ridiculously tall ladder, there have been a few other Jeff Hardy moments and matches that were jaw-dropping for all the wrong reasons.
And perhaps the most infamous moment of Jeff's in-ring career went down on the night of Victory Road 2011.
With the former WWE Champion struggling with addiction heading into his showdown with Sting over the TNA World Championship, it soon became clear that Hardy wasn't in a state to wrestle as he wandered down the ramp to the ring.
Sensing something quickly needed to be done, Executive Producer Eric Bischoff soon showed up to alter the contest into a No DQ bout, all while subtly giving the pair some new instructions on how this awkward incoming match would play out.
Sting then proceeded to drop his opponent in just over a minute, forcing Hardy to the mat to end the disaster before things could get any worse.
Jeff would continue to struggle with his addiction outside of the ring in the years to come, of course, but this definitely still remains the lowlight of his generally adored in-ring career.
