Shawn Michaels had retired a year earlier and was going into the WWE Hall Of Fame as the greatest pro wrestler ever. Backstage, we see Vince approach HBK, barely able to look at him. When he gets to Michaels, he puts his arm around him, finally looking him in the eyes. At that point McMahon starts to tear up. The footage then cuts to Vince giving Shawn the WWE Hall of Fame ring. This was Vince's personal favourite wrestler throughout the 90's, you can feel the affection in the air. There's then the big man hug, with the Chairman kissing Michaels' neck as the embrace begins. The emotion on McMahon is clear to see as he grips Michaels in tighter. The footage ends with the camera zooming in on the tears in Vince's eyes, a moment of rare weakness in the chairman.
