When The Shield broke up, that appeared to be it for the unique entrance which saw them come to the ring by walking through the crowd. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins went through a weird phase of not having any entrance music for a while, but Roman Reigns not only kept the walk through the WWE Universe, but also a slightly remixed version of The Shield's theme (perhaps he's more sentimental than he lets on?). Being mauled by overeager WWE fans can't be a lot of fun, but credit has to go to Roman for keeping this entrance and - as he's said on numerous occasions - helping to make those seats all the more valuable. The fact that he's started interacting with those fans over the last year or so is very cool, as he can now often be seen fist bumping them on his way down the steps to the ring. While Reigns hasn't become the fan-favourite the company were hoping for, this has gone a long way in helping him connect with the fickle WWE Universe, and there's no denying that his music hitting followed by a surprise appearance in the crowd makes for a very cool visual. Whether or not he'll ditch this and his Shield-like gear remains to be see, but for now, it's a welcome addition to WWE programming each week.
