9. TLC II: The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz vs. Edge & Christian (WrestleMania X-Seven)

The rivalry between the Hardy Boyz, the Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian spanned two years and featured some of the greatest and most influential tag matches of the Attitude Era. At SummerSlam in August 2000, they met in the first-ever Ladders, Tables and Chairs match. The match was littered with jaw-dropping spots and the broken bodies of all six men involved. The match was considered by most to be an instant classic, a five-star affair that exceeded lofty expectations. With WrestleMania X-Seven approaching, the decision was made to put the tag titles up for grabs in a rematch. The sequel to the blockbuster original would feature the same three teams but this time, associates of the duos would make their presences felt. Rhyno, Spike Dudley and Lita all had a hand in the match, each attempting to aid their friends to victory. Ultimately, it would be the former ECW champion Rhyno that helped the battered and beaten Christian up the ladder and to victory. It was a dissatisfying outcome for fans, who had hoped the popular Hardys or Dudleys would emerge as champions but the quality of the match and the historical implications were more than enough to make up for Edge and Christian somehow withstanding the pain and punishment and earning another title reign.
