10. Inferno Match: The Undertaker vs. Kane (In Your House: Unforgiven 1998)
WrestleMania XIV was the site of the first titanic battle between Undertaker and Kane, a match that was six months in the making. The Phenom won that match following three Tombstone piledrivers but Kane refused to allow the setback to derail his quest to avenge the mother and father he believed to be murdered by his brother in a deliberately-set fire. The intensely personal rivalry continued into April 1998's In Your House: Unforgiven pay-per-view, where they would meet in the first-ever Inferno match. With the ring surrounded by fire and the temperature between the ropes exceeding 100 degrees, The Undertaker and Kane pummeled each other with power-based offenses and attempted to light one another on fire, as per the prematch stipulations. It was an incredibly dangerous and difficult match for the competitors involved and one that would be used sparingly in the years that followed. Undertaker won the match but, as fans of the two are aware, it was hardly the end of their decade-long sibling rivalry.
