10 Exact Moments Wrestlers Died Inside

8. Simon Gotch

Simon Gotch hates Enzo Amore.

He buried him into the core of the earth in a 2018 RF Video shoot, claiming that Enzo Amore, a "f*cking abortion," was so incompetent at and ignorant of wrestling that he broke his leg trying to counter a wrist lock and thought Kalisto was Manny Fernandez. Gotch was scathing in his assessment of his former NXT colleague, to a level beyond even Amore's notoriously abrasive behaviour would seem to justify, and the why may have revealed itself when Enzo responded to the shoot with Title Match Wrestling a year later.

The story, as Enzo tells it - and as a narrator he's as reliable as the guy in the tell-tale heart, I think it was Shawn Michaels howyadoin' - goes that Enzo excoriated Gotch in promo class with such devastation that Gotch never recovered.

Per Enzo - again, possibly not even true - Gotch was wearing his André The Giant singlet.

Enzo preyed on it.

"Simon Gotch has got a pair of tiddies like a 65 year-old woman, howyadoin'?" he apparently said to a huge pap.

"Kid died in his mind right there," Enzo claims.

Whenever this sh*t goes back to normal, Josh Barnett knows what must be done.
