10. Billionaire Ted Skits
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1sCTi31Z2jA Yes, WCW had basically tried to turn the Monday Night War into a playground battle with devious plots and name-calling, but when the WWF decided to air their "Billionaire Ted" skits, lampooning the likes of WCW owner Ted Turner (Billionaire Ted), "Mean" Gene Okerlund (Scheme Gene), Hulk Hogan (The Huckster), and Randy Savage (The Nacho Man), it took things to an entirely different level. The skits started out innocently enough. Making fun of Hogan and Savage for being old, making fun of Turner for being some hick that only cares about buying and selling people, and making fun of Okerlund for trying to scam people into calling his old 1-900 hotline. However, when one skit insinuated that Hogan had been intimate with Miss Elizabeth, that's when Savage supposedly blew up, enraged that the WWF would have the nerve to put something like that on television. Savage was notoriously jealous and protective, as well as being very private. There had already been bad blood between Savage and Hogan over Randy's thinking something was going on between Hulk and Elizabeth, and this merely brought it back to the forefront, and in a very public way. It was yet another thing that added fuel to the fire, and if you believe the stories, was something that Randy never forgave Vince McMahon for doing.
