This one would have everyone changing their minds and how they view the entire situation really quickly. One rumor that we've seen has WWE reaching out to Randy while he was still alive, and saying they wanted to induct him into the WWE Hall Of Fame, only for Savage to decline the entire thing. Just like that. End of story. No scams, grudges, and backstage politics. Just a simple "do you want in", followed by a simple "no thanks", and that's that. If this actually happened, it makes you wonder about Macho's reasoning. Unless you're a bitter ex-employee, there really is no reason to turn down an induction into the Hall Of Fame. The chance to mingle with some of your fellow legends, the opportunity to be in the spotlight one more time, the fancy Hall Of Fame ring, the money... it just makes sense to be there and do the ceremony. You don't just turn it down because, say, your girlfriend's birthday is WrestleMania weekend and you want to go on a mini-vacation with her, or you're having a Fantasy Baseball draft on that day.
