Instantly upon his first appearances on the main roster in 2013, wrestling fans started to draw comparisons between Bray Wyatt and Charles Manson. The latter man is currently still in prison, stemming from arrest over a spate of murders in the 1970's. Manson himself didn't literally commit the killings, but he was imprisoned due to conspiracy, as well as enabling others to commit the atrocities. A cult-like figure of insanity, Manson somehow still sends chills up the spines of many today despite his imprisonment. It's been noted before that Wyatt's character was influenced by the movie 'Cape Fear', but it's also fair to assume he took influence from the notorious former leader of the 'Manson Family'.
