10 Fantasy WWE Matches That Took Place On Free TV
8. D-Generation X Vs. JeriShow Vs. Undertaker & John Cena (Raw, 2009)
There was an episode of Talk is Jericho a little while ago in which the show's eponymous host casually remembered that this match once happened. He was basically like, "oh yeah - that was kind of a big deal".
That's a pretty massive understatement. Latter-era Undertaker competing on free TV is headline news in and of itself - but throw in John Cena, Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Y2J (and who else? Oh yeah: Big Show) and you've got one of the biggest Monday Night Raw main events of all-time.
As if the occasion couldn't get any bigger, it even took place in Madison Square Garden, WWE's spiritual home. It was basically the equivalent of putting Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the same team in Brazil's legendary Maracana Stadium.
It didn't last very long, of course. Thanks to 'Taker eating up half of their allotted time walking to the ring, we only actually got about seven or eight minutes of action. While it lasted, though, it was epic.
