Wrestling is a tough business, a tough, tough business. Making it in the industry is nothing more than a dream for most, with many talented wrestlers stuck performing in bingo-halls and gyms. Even legends like Edge had to pay their dues before making it big. As such, he has wrestled in some strange places, one of which was an actual barn!

In an early career interview for the Canadian Press (documented here via Tripod) Copeland talked about his struggles to make ends meet during his pre-WWF career.

"I've wrestled in a barn in Tennessee in front of six people and ate a can of tuna a day," said Copeland. He then expanded by claiming that this was a necessary part of his career as he thought it was important to "go pretty much anywhere you can find work."

Nowadays, it's hard to think of a time when Edge wasn't a massive deal. Thus, this incredibly humbling start to his career is a testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and struggle.

As a side note, let's hope those six audience members remember this match because, damn, talk about seeing a superstar before they made it big.
