Poor Mike Kanellis found out first hand that JC has another side though. He once raised the ire of Cena by using a version of his 'You Can't See Me' gesture during a tryout match vs. Cryme Tyme in 2007. Someone alerted John behind the scenes, and he was not happy with Mike.

John was waiting for him behind the curtain.

The 'Doctor Of Thuganomics' was an established star by that point, and he certainly wasn't going to stand by and watch some rookie hopeful use his sh*t on episodes of Sunday Night Heat. So, Cena told Kanellis in no uncertain terms never to do that gesture again.

Mike complied, and realised the error of his ways. There was no lingering heat between the pair though, because Kanellis understood where John was coming from. He vowed never to be so foolish again, and actually respected Cena for owning his own gimmick without sniping behind someone's back.
