Ripley has arguably one of the strongest personal brands in WWE today. Her aesthetic is simple; she’s a goth chick who loves thick makeup, black leather, and spikes. It gets across her character extremely effectively and it’s part of why she’s such a big star.

Another part of the star’s look is tattoos - lots of tattoos. According to various sources, Rhea sports around 20 tats all over her body, however, at one point, she wasn’t allowed to get any in a certain place.

In an interview given to TalkSport in 2020, Ripley said that she wasn’t permitted to have any tattoos on her upper body, per orders from the powers that be. “Unfortunately for me, WWE isn't clearing my upper body.” She said, before explaining that she wore long pants so she wouldn’t have to get the ink on her legs cleared.

“Hopefully I can convince people to let me get my arm sleeves and other stuff, but we'll see how that goes.” She remarked. Thankfully, WWE did soften up on this rule and now Rhea’s body art is there for all to see.
