The thing about wrestling is that it's so easy, and that makes WWE so pig-sh*t-thick for butchering the form time and again across every facet of its output.

The constant rematches are totally pointless, but don't worry: you can barely see the action because the production is so sh*tty!

It's not really easy. Drew McIntyre getting into incredible shape while retaining the ability to explode across the ring is a harder job than taking the piss out of Triple H. But, not to be reductive about things, the final phase of getting over as a main event act saw him count from 3 to 1 and kick somebody in the face. A gregarious fellow with an impressive body allowed the fans to interact with him. If it's not easy, it's not especially hard.

He did that to create anticipation for his very over Claymore Kick - which was invented purely by accident. When aiming a big boot at Ryback in 2013, the tight trousers he wore in 3MB meant he couldn't keep the standing leg still in fear of getting his b*llocks out. He fell on his arse, but it didn't look half bad - hence the new finish.

Incredibly, given WWE's predilection for humiliating its talent, he somehow wasn't renamed Deepfried McDaftc*nt.
