Mick Foley complained, in 2001, when announcing that the various WWF and WCW titles were to be unified, that everybody had a belt.

He didn't know the half of it.

The following number only includes titles that Vince McMahon had a direct and unilateral role in booking - ergo, it excludes every active and inactive NXT and NXT UK championship, every developmental title, and the belts that were effectively co-promoted with New Japan Pro Wrestling during the 1980s.

Further, for the sake of clarity, the following number was calculated from Vince McMahon's time at the helm. The old WWWF reigns are obviously not an accurate reflection of Vince's stewardship.

Combining every championship Vince McMahon Jr. has ever promoted - across the prized WWE Title, the Million Dollar Belt, the Vince-booked WCW reigns and (most) everything in between - and you will discover that he has booked 1,399 reigns. Since the launch of Hulkamania, which might as well be the origin of his era, too, Vince McMahon has presided over WWE for approximately 1976 weeks. Therefore, Vince McMahon has booked a title reign once every 0.7 weeks - or just under three reigns per month.

This figure is skewed by the 24/7 and Hardcore Titles, which don't even masquerade as legitimate title runs that are meant to be taken seriously. Removing these reigns from the overall total leaves 997 - and even then, Vince has booked a new title reign once every two weeks.

The number might even be slightly bigger, considering that several title reigns have been booked in NXT following Triple H's demotion as creative figurehead.

It's little wonder few take the titles in WWE seriously - but there's one in particular that fans simply won't give up on...
