This will raise a few eyebrows out there.

Becky Lynch told Steve Austin's 'Broken Skull Sessions' the truth in 2022: She was never 100% comfortable with the fact her 'The Man' character showed a complete lack of vulnerability on camera. That lack of fragility went against everything Becky had been taught since day one in wrestling school, and it took some getting used to.

Lynch was cast as a hardened rebel who was more 'Stone Cold' than anyone in the women's division had ever been before her. She wasn't scared of anything/anyone, and even thumbed her nose at authority figures like Triple H whenever 'The Game' got right up in her face. It made for killer TV, but Becks was struggling a wee bit internally.

She hyper-analysed all of her performances in promos and matches after the fact. Things would settle down a bit in time for a headline showing at WrestleMania 35, but Lynch didn't truly make peace with playing 'The Man' during that peak run. Even Austin was stunned (ahem) by that.
