WrestleMania 37 didn't mark the first time Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley had squared off in WWE, let alone anywhere else, but it marked the first time a 'Show Of Shows' headliner was lifted from the Impact Wrestling back catalogue.

Or at least, it would have done had WWE followed through with Drew McIntyre getting a headline spot. In the end, a different Night One show-closer was the superior move, but the 'Scottish Warrior's big title match a year on from him winning the gold for the very first time was a retread of a rivalry he'd had during his vaunted time away from the market leader.

The pair were top of the bill at Slammiversary XIV in 2016 in a battle over the TNA Heavyweight Championship, with Bobby dethroning Drew Galloway on the celebratory night. He never reclaimed the gold from the future WWE Champion, and wouldn't manage it before returning to the market leader via NXT in 2017. WrestleMania was history repeating of a fashion - Drew couldn't get past the Hurt Business leader, and his three years later, his quest to win the top prize in a full stadium remains incomplete.

He did at least make some history here...
