Given how much of a fixture "The Barber" was in the late-eighties and early-nineties, it's a bit surprising that Beefcake had one lone Rumble match appearance, taking part in the 1989 edition. Entering late in the match, Beefcake lasted close to 15 minutes before he and Hercules were eliminated together.

Beefcake, as noted in the previous list, was absent from the 1988 Rumble, having taken part in the house show that was running concurrent with the Rumble broadcast. At the 1990 show, Beefcake worked on the undercard against The Genius. Less than six months later, in the midst of a major singles push, Beefcake's face was destroyed, and his life nearly ended, in a parasailing accident. He wouldn't return to a WWE ring until 1993, and even then, only briefly.
