I admit to being a sucker for the older days of the Rumble, when one and two would have music, but each subsequent entrant either arrived to the cheers of the crowd, or vehement boos, depending on what their alignment was. It was a pretty good test of who was over and who wasn't, letting the visceral noise be the music.

The 1996 Rumble changed all of that, as it was the first Rumble where all 30 entrants came out to their theme music. Or, in the case of the one-night participants, whatever theme music could be scraped up. There's a certain bit of humor in seeing Dory Funk Jr jog out to Rockin' Robin's old generic round-up music.
