5. Steve Austin Was The Last Man To Win Consecutive Rumbles
Only three men in history have won Royal Rumbles back-to-back: Hulk Hogan in 1990-91, Shawn Michaels in 1995-96, and Steve Austin in 1997-98. In terms of wrestlers who have won multiple Rumbles, you'd have to add John Cena, Batista, Triple H, and Randy Orton to that list. None of those four, however, won the Rumble in back-to-back years.
Amazing that in first 11 Rumbles, consecutive winners had occurred three times, but in the 19 Rumbles since, it hasn't happened again. You could chalk that up to WWE's roster expanding to the point where there are more viable options for a winner in each year, as well as the possibility that there are rarely any clear "it has to be him" winners in the modern age (well, other than Daniel Bryan).
