The big climax of the 1998 Royal Rumble was Kane immolating The Undertaker inside of the very casket used in the main event. Oh, how Jim Ross' cries of, "THE CASKET'S ON FIRE!" still ring in my nostalgia feels. It'd make a man wistful if the angle didn't involve burning a man alive.

Was it less hokey or more hokey than Undertaker's 1994 levitation? No matter, even with the arena bathed in darkness, fans in the San Jose Arena were able to see Undertaker sneak out of a small door on the casket prior to the raging inferno.

Obviously, Undertaker had to get out somehow before the stunt, but the escape was apparently highly visible to a number of onlookers. Ah well, what can you do.
