The 2001 Royal Rumble is often regarded as Kane's finest hour, immolations and awkward weddings aside. The beastly demon might not be one's first consideration for a Royal Rumble workhorse, but Kane held his own in an enjoyable 2001 Rumble match, going from number six all the way to the conclusion.

Along the way, Kane made 11 eliminations, breaking the record of ten, set dually by Hulk Hogan and Stone Cold Steve Austin, in 1989 and 1997, respectively.

Kane's monster total was due in large part to having two separate house-cleaning segments: one where he tossed out every entrant from numbers seven through 12, and in the later stages when he and Undertaker banded together to wreak havoc on everybody else.
