Taking part in his tenth straight Royal Rumble match (and 12th overall), Kane had himself a decent showing. During his 18 minutes in the fray, Kane eliminated John Morrison, as well as surprise entrants Roddy Piper and Jimmy Snuka, whose in-match renewal of bad blood was, uh, something.

Kane ended up coming in fourth place, making him just the second man in Rumble history to reach the final four on five occasions. The first was Steve Austin, who did so five times between 1997 and 2002.

Kane's first four instances came in 1997 (as the impostor Diesel), 2000, 2001 (the year he was runner-up), and 2003. Since then, four other wrestlers have matched the feat, something that will be covered in future incarnations of these lists.
